PPV Tips for Media Traffic

Media Traffic AgencyIf you are getting your feet wet with PPV, its very likely that you are running campaigns with Media Traffic. It’s one of the easiest networks to get approved with and only has a $200 minimum. This post is for all of you  guys starting out with Media Traffic and those of you who enjoyed the PPV guide I posted last week. Here are a few tips that should improve your results.

  • Try running lead gen offers.
  • Look for offers between $3 and $4.
  • Try running offers that are no more than 2 or 3 pages (5+ page lead gens will be very difficult).
  • Scrape URLs from Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
  • Check out the demographic information on Quantcast.com for additional URLs.
  • Test BOTH direct linking and landing pages
  • Make sure your landing pages and offer pages look good in a 750×550 window.
  • Don’t try to pre-sell. Focus your efforts on getting the visitor to click through.
  • If you spend more than 5 times the offer’s payout and haven’t seen any conversions, consider dumping the campaign or reevaluating your landing pages and URLs.
  • Don’t do ANYTHING unless you’re tracking with Prosper202.
  • Consider building a list instead of sending them directly to an offer (hint: this is where the money is).
  • Be patient when you launch a new campaign. Each campaign has to go through a manual review and they are processed in the order it was received. If it’s past 24 hours Media Traffic can push it. So give your account manager a call.
  • According to Media Traffic there aren’t any specific demographics on their network but try and think about the type of people who download screen savers.

This is by no means a comprehensive list but it should point you in the right direction. Remember to test everything.
